Terms of Service

By accessing or using Water Polo IQ Academy ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including athletes, parents, coaches, and administrators.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

If you are creating an account on behalf of a minor, you confirm you have parental or guardian authority to do so.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Certain features of the Platform require an active paid membership ("Academy Membership"). Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as selected at checkout.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.

Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Profile page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Water Polo IQ Academy provides educational content, training guidance, and AI-assisted coaching suggestions for informational and developmental purposes only.

All training content is intended as general guidance for skill development and does not replace the advice, supervision, or coaching of a qualified, certified water polo coach or physical trainer.

Training recommendations from the Platform, including those generated by the AI Coach, should be reviewed and approved by a qualified coach before implementation, especially for competitive athletes.

The Platform does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. No content on the Platform should be construed as medical advice.

If you or any user experiences pain, injury, or physical distress during training, stop immediately and consult a qualified medical professional. The AI Coach will direct you to seek medical care if injury-related content is submitted.

Always consult a physician before beginning any new athletic training program, particularly for younger athletes or those with pre-existing conditions.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates the privacy of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Misrepresent your identity or role (e.g., claiming to be a coach or administrator)
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use AI coaching features to generate unsafe training volumes for youth athletes
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or reproduce Platform content without permission

All educational content, lessons, drills, quizzes, and AI-generated coaching materials on the Platform are the intellectual property of Water Polo IQ Academy or its licensors.

Video clips you upload for AI review remain your property. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and analyze the content for the purpose of generating your AI feedback. Your videos are private by default and are not shared or made public.

Coach notes and practice plans created through the Platform remain associated with the creating coach's account and are governed by the visibility settings selected at time of creation.

Refund eligibility, conditions, and timelines are to be defined by the platform operator and must comply with applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Water Polo IQ Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the Platform in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
